Here is the latest build of Aggro as well as the current change log. To install unzip the .Zip archive to any folder.  Then run setup from within that folder. Install the game to anywhere on your computer. After the initial install it should load automatically, and after that you can go to where you installed it to run it.

System Requirements


- Must be running, at minimum, Windows XP Service Pack 2.
- Must have a video card that supports, at minimum, Shader Model 1.1.

August 26th, 2011


- Incorporated PC online multiplayer for two players
- Changed backgrounds because they got boring
- Changed menu font
- Changed card sizes and field layout to fit inside "Title Safe Area"
- Incorporated color fading to make highlighting smoother
- Added "instruction" bar in the center of the screen that updates when something is happening
- Added "sleep" system that pauses between each important event
- Applied following balance tweaks:

        Archer
                - Replaced Disengage with a new ability; [+40] Multi-Shot - Deal 2 damage to each character at {3} range
        Priest
                - Increased the threat cost of Cleanse from +40 to +50
                - Changed the wording of Heal and Cleanse to "Heal X HP" instead of "Heal X points of damage" for succinctness
                - Changed the range of Cleanse from AT {0} range to AT {0} range or {1} range
                - Increased the threat reduction of Pacify from 40 points to 50 points
                - Decresed the threat cost of Pacify from +40 to +30

        Rogue
                - No Changes
        Warrior
                - Increased the threat cost of Defend from +30 to +40
                - Increased the damage prevention of Defend from 2 points to 3 points

        Wizard
                - No changes

- Added smooth card sliding, scaling, and rotating animations
- Fixed Inspire from being able to untap already untapped characters
- Fixed Crippling shot from being able to tap already tapped characters
- Fixed Player 1 winning box; used to say Player 2 wins

- Changed name of game to Aggro: The game of threat
- Added screen management system; includes main menu, pause menu, options menu, message boxes, etc.
- Fixed Vanish damage dealing; used to be able to target with same priority
- Disabled the ability to target heal full health characters
- The player that goes first now skips their second action to ensure that they don't pull too far ahead
- Added win condition
- Added full party creation
- Changed playmat layout
- Applied following balance tweaks:

        Archer
                - Decreased health from 8 to 7
                - Increased the threat cost of Ranged Attack from +30 to +50
                - Decreased the threat cost of Disengage from -30 to -50
                - Decreased the threat cost of Crippling Shot from +50 to +40

        Priest
                - Increased health from 10 to 11
                - Increased healing of Heal from 2 points to 3 points
                - Changed Heal text to say "another target character" instead of "target character"
                - Increased threat reduction of Pacify from 30 points to 40 points
                - Increased threat cost of Pacify from +40 to +50
                - Replaced Mitigate with a new ability; [+40] Cleanse - Heal 2 points of damage from each character at {0} range

        Rogue
                - Increased health from 10 to 11
                - Increased the damage of Knife Throw from 2 to 3
                - Increased the threat cost of Knife Throw from +20 to +40
                - Increased the threat gain of Provoke from 30 to 50
                - Increased the threat cost of Provoke from +40 to +60
                - Removed the damage "cost" from Vanish

        Warrior
                - Increased the damage of Melee Strike from 3 to 4
                - Increased the threat cost of Melee Strike from +30 to +40
                - Increased the threat cost of Defend from -40 to +30

        Wizard
                - Decreased the range of Magic Missile from {3} to {2}
                - Decreased the threat cost of Magic Missile from +70 to +60
                - Increased the range of Chain Lightning from {3} to {4}
                - Increased the threat cost of Chain Lightning from +30 to +50
