Technical Announcement: Youtube Embedding (Updated)

Posted by noklu noklu
You may have noticed the Nabble embed tags are no longer working.

Update: Better Workaround: when using the Nabble tags and the youtube embedding code (iframe), add "http:" or "https:" before the URL within the iframe code. The code should look like this:

<nabble_embed><iframe width="420" height="315" src="" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></nabble_embed>
Normally, it looks likes this:
<nabble_embed><iframe width="420" height="315" src="//" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></nabble_embed>

There is a simple and easy fix: don't use the Nabble tags and directly paste the Youtube embedding code into your post. Make sure you have checked the "Message is in HTML Format" box, and post. You will have a working Youtube video.

By the way, you may have noticed an update to your profile settings pages. You now have greater functionality: custom titles and aliases that appear under your profile picture on each forum page. Same guidelines apply to these as any other place on the forum, so play nice.
